Home Builders Association of Greater Lansing
Located in Okemos, Michigan We are a non-profit trade association comprised of members from the home building industry. The membership includes home builders, remodelers, developers, and residential suppliers in the Lansing, Michigan region. Our mission is a dedication to the advancement of the membership and the housing industry. We are one of over 800 local home builder associations in the United States.
Considering everyone involved in the home building industry, from designers to title companies to insurance, lenders, and others, homebuilding creates jobs for thousands of people. Residential construction is a vital component of the Lansing regional economy. We encourage you to use a local member on your next housing project!
Housing is a necessary and vital part of the American Dream. We believe that homeownership should be within the reach of every American. Besides, homes should be well designed, well-constructed, and in compliance with local regulations. Finally, homes should be built under a system of free enterprise.
Chartered in 1944 by the National Association of Home Builders, the Greater Lansing Home Builders Association serves the mid-Michigan area by representing the interests of home builders, light commercial builders, developers, remodelers, subcontractors, suppliers and professional service providers to the home building industry
