Simonton Windows was founded in Pennsboro, West Virginia in 1946 when Fred and Sybil Simonton realized the demand for high-quality exterior aluminum goods and based Pen Vent Awning. Their son might later take Simonton into another level. In 1981 he convinced the rest of the household that so as to distinguish the business from its rivals, they’d have to start producing energy-efficient vinyl windows. Consequently, Simonton Windows was created.

Now the Simonton portfolio of products comprises 12 distinct windows and patio door outlines with varying structural and stylistic attributes, all of which may be arranged to meet ENERGY STAR® guidelines.
